6615 W Roosevelt Rd, Berwyn, IL 60402

Show: 9pm

Glen David Andrews — trombonist, singer and showman — hails from New Orleans, a city overflowing with gifted musicians. But even in such a hometown, Andrews stands out for his “passionate, funky music” (Allmusic) and his ability to summon “a sound that mingles joy with pain and beats that swing implicitly at any tempo” (Wall Street Journal).

Andrews’ gumbo of jazz, blues, funk, gospel, and soul make a perfect way to hold on to the Mardi Gras vibe while rockin’ a Valentines Day alternative.

Bust out your dancing shoes and join us in stomping out hunger the fun way.

Glen David Andrews will perform to benefit Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry on Saturday, February 13th — days after his NCIS New Orleans Mardi Gras debut. After bringing down the house at the American Music Festival last year, Andrews will do it again, this time, in support of a great cause.

For $35 a ticket , this event will be a whole lotta music and a whole lotta fun!

CAN DO Community Challenge

Date: Friday, April 1st - Saturday, April 30th, 2016
Location: Varies

Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry

CAN DO Community Challenge is a local hunger relief campaign sponsored by Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.

April 1st - April 30th

CAN DO Community Challenge is designed to heighten awareness about local food insecurity and encourages schools, organizations, congregations and individuals to become more involved with the Food Pantry.

Ways to get involved with the Food Pantry include:
- Making a Donation
- Holding a Food Drive
- Signing Up to Volunteer

Traditionally, food pantry donations are at their lowest during the Spring. By supporting the CAN DO Community Challenge, your donation of food, money and/or time will help support the 1,400 families who rely on Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry every month for food.

A Challenge Corp (local group of philanthropists) has challenged the Food Pantry to collect 100,000 in monetary and goods donations. This provides an incentive to donate by increasing the impact of donations. If we reach our 100,000 goal, the Challenge Corp will donate an additional $25,000 to Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.
